While Arduino is known for its openness with hardware and software, Qualcomm is the exact opposite. This applies to both their virtually nonexistent free documentation and hardware support, where they only provide binary blobs for drivers until they don’t.
Of course, they claim that everything about Arduino will remain the same, but we all know better from previous acquisitions. RIP Arduino.
